Preston Rudderow

Having graduated from Montana State University in 1986, I began my career in the commercial roofing industry in 1987. Starting out in Southern CA, then on to the Pacific Northwest and the last 20+ years in Alaska has enabled me to learn the technical aspects and nuances of material performance in those vastly different climates. Involvement with hundreds of projects throughout the state of Alaska has given me a clear understanding of what works in the design of exterior building envelopes.

Technical understanding of building envelope science/performance is the forefront of my desire to provide exceptional and sustainable exterior building products. Having a solid understanding of the building construction and technical detailing is what allows me to bring solutions-based products and systems to my customers.

Barb Fleming

Barb joined Ex Tech in 2008 after 30+ years of sales, estimating, installation and project management positions in the Telecommunications Construction Industry throughout Alaska.

Utilizing my experiences from the past we use this to facilitate the customer service & coordination aspects in our joint efforts with the design and specification process of our products.

From assisting with providing architects and designers with literature, samples and general information to help insure the implementation of our products into the project design. Assisting contractors and bidders in the bid process with quotes for materials; with coordination of project orders between customers and a manufacturer is the focus on a daily basis.

We take pride in making ourselves locally and readily available to assist in all aspects of a project from the design to the installation – offering a solution base customer satisfaction service.

Dave Sell

Dave started his construction career by entering the Boilermaker apprenticeship. Having completed that apprenticeship, he was able to excel in all disciplines of welding. Seeing the future of coal fired power plants diminishing, David went back to school and became an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector. During this time he studied and passed qualifying tests in four disciplines of non-destructive testing. Upon completion of that, he went on to work for Poma of America (Ski lift Manufacturer) as a Quality Control Manager for ten years. He then moved on to various Project Management assignments and worked on projects from structural steel erection to helping facilitate the funding and building of the largest indoor sports facility in the country. After that project a major career change took place and he became involved in the world of helicopters and took on the Sales and Marketing for three of the largest helicopter companies in the world. In that capacity he provided helicopters for the oil and gas, department of defense, search and rescue, wild land fires and mining industries. Due to the current status of the oil industry, this sector has greatly diminished and he has once again taken on a new challenge in the commercial cladding industry. He and his wife now live in Boise, Idaho and are providing quality building envelope products throughout Idaho and Montana.
